What is there NOT to love about this? I suppose I should have posted this a few days ago for National S'mores Day. Oops. It has been several months since I made these, but once again I'm tapping my Tried and Reviewed board for a topic to blog about. Tomorrow I will be making some freezer/crock pot meals, so I'll have plenty of pictures and new recipes to cover. Today, however, I spent the afternoon with an old friend and have come home to no motivation whatsoever.
These cookie bars are made from a basic cookie recipe with graham crackers crushed into the dough. Then you top with chocolate and marshmallow creme and put down another cookie dough layer. They were decadent and delicious. I highly recommend serving them warm, or reheating them individually so you can enjoy the melted chocolate and marshmallow properly. They're a bit sticky and messy, but a nice change from your typical s'more!
