Day 107: Fall Cleaning

Happy first day of Fall!  It's my favorite time of year-saving the best for last.  October finally brings cooler weather here in SoCal, plus my birthday :) and November brings family together for Thanksgiving.  And then of course there's the anticipation of Christmas.  The Christmas holiday starts the day after Thanksgiving in our house!

For some reason, I also finally get motivated to work on projects around the house and getting organized and on top of things again in the Fall.  Maybe it's because of the ingrained "new school year" mentality, or it's just finally cool enough to do some heavy lifting without pouring sweat! I skip right over Spring cleaning and wait for Fall.  It's not like we are locked up indoors for the long winter here!

A friend of mine posted this link, "33 meticulous tricks for the OCD person inside you" on Facebook today, and I pinned it to my Cleaning Tips and Tricks board right away.  There are several that I've done before, but there were also a bunch that I wanted to remember "just in case."

Does anyone else find this painting totally disturbing?!? Check out the earlier link to find more great tips and tricks and get the links to each one individually.
