Being on the "left coast" we are among the last to ring in the new year and say goodbye to the old. As I was thinking back over 2012 and how drastically our life has changed this year, I remembered this pin that was an encouragement to me many months ago. The link on Pinterest is spam, but the picture was still a blessing to me.
We humans tend to live life so caught up in the present. The immediate becomes all-encompassing and we lose sight of the big picture so easily. Any time this year that I began to feel overwhelmed, I tried to remember this thought. God's ways are above our ways! He sees the plan that He has laid out before us. Who are we to question the circumstances that He allows in our lives? Granted, many of them are problems of our own making, but who better to get you back on track than the Creator of the universe?!? As you look ahead to 2013, go ahead and make your resolutions, plan, create lists and do what you can to be a better person. But remember that we don't see the whole picture. So be what you should be, where you should be, and let God take care of what lies ahead!
