Henry has reached that adorable age when kids bring you all sorts of special "gifts" from outside. Thankfully, it's usually just a dandelion or small flower from a weed, and not something alive. However, where do you put those little treasures? They are so small they'll never fit in a vase-even a bud vase is too big.
I remembered a pin that I saw at some point during my perusing of Pinterest, but I hadn't pinned it. It seemed simple enough, so I just went by memory and winged it. I did look it up later using the search option on Pinterest. Here is the original. Her pictures are much better than mine, and she gives good step by step directions. (Not that you really need them- it's pretty easy)
I snipped off the end of a balloon with scissors and then pulled it over a small votive . It leaves a hole just small enough to support those little flowers and displays them proudly. Easy peasy!
