I'm not really sure about this one. We have a DVD that has one track that won't play because it had been scratched at some point. I thought I would try this trick to see if it could be fixed. It was not successful, but that could be my own fault. I followed the tutorial step by step (it's a good one with pictures for each step, so check it out) but I didn't have Crest brand toothpaste. I figured most kids' toothpastes are the same, so I used Aquafresh, our current brand. I did realize, though, that Crest brand is much more of a gel than Aquafresh. Because we go through toothpaste in the kids' bathroom more quickly than we go through toilet paper, I figure next time I'll buy Crest and we'll try this one again. So, to be fair, I'm not declaring this one a failure just yet. It's a "try again" pin :)
