Day 223: Cleaning up Pet Hair

We have both a cat and a dog.  (Although our poor doggy seems to be in poor health suddenly :( and may not be with us much longer). Both of our pets have white hair.  Our couch is dark green.  You get the picture.  Neither animal is "allowed" on the couch, but you know they jump up there the moment we walk out the door!  They also shed like crazy when going from a winter coat to summer coat and vice versa.  I saw this pin about using a squeegee to wipe up animal hair, so I gave it a try.  There was no link with the photo, just the idea, so I had to try it myself to make sure it would work. (That's not my picture- whoever did that must have a REALLY big dog.)  But, it does collect hair and junk quite nicely! So no need to go out and buy one of those fancy hair brushes for carpet or get a new attachment for your vacuum cleaner.  Just run a squeegee with a soft rubber end over the carpet or furniture and collect the "hair ball."  Ah, the joys of pet ownership!
