Day 101: Five Ways to a Better Marriage

It's Sunday again already!  Time for another post designed to help you and your marriage.  Our family is still dealing with sickness this week.  I've begun a vitamin regimen for myself and the kids to try to ward off the bugs as we enter into the annual cold and flu season.  Guess I should have bought some for daddy, too, because he's sick in bed right now :( Traveling across time zones and being up late for several nights in a row will always wreak havoc on an immune system.  Actually, it was because he was gone on a business trip to South Carolina this week that I'm posting today's marriage help.

Pastor Marvin McKenzie was involved in the leadership of the Bible college that Jared and I attended. I've always respected him for his studious mind and gentle spirit, even though he was a professional bull rider for a while!  He writes a few daily blogs.  The one I'm posting a link to here is called Five Ways to Better Marriage.  It is always just a simple list of five things that are intended to get you thinking and applying them to your life.  He also writes a blog based on the "Five Things" idea but it is about rearing kids.  The blog that caught my eye this week was "When we're Apart."  I enjoyed reading through his older posts, and I hope you do, too!
